2024 Fees
Mudgee Preschool follows the NSW Public School Terms/Holiday dates:
The NSW Government is providing fee relief to families through the Start Strong Affordable Preschool initiative as part of the Early Years Commitment.
In 2024, families with children who are at least 3 years old on or before 31 July 2024 and who are enrolled in a community or mobile preschool service may save up to $4,220 each year.
How the fee relief works:
- The funding for your child’s fee relief will be provided to Mudgee Community Preschool, directly from the NSW Government, and we will pass this fee relief on to you as a reduction to your fees.
- You cannot receive fee relief at more than one early childhood education service.
The fee relief will be evenly allocated to you across the calendar year.
If your child will be attending another service that offers fee relief (another community preschool or a long day care service), you will need to choose which service you would like to receive fee relief from by signing a Fee Relief Declaration Form.

1. Complete a Fee Relief Declaration form from the NSW Department of Education (below) 2. Return the form to us as soon as possible. |

*Equity Fees/Affordability Assistance – a fee reduction is offered to families who are:
o Low Income Health Care card or Pension card holders (please present card to office staff )
o Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander; or
o Who have a child with a diagnosed disability (please provide a signed report of diagnosis)
Extended Hours Fees
The fees for the Extended Hours program are listed below. Please note that these fees are not subject to fee relief under the Affordable Preschool Funding from the NSW Department of Education Places for extended hours are limited and there is a waiting list. There are no “casual” spots for the Extended Hours program and places are booked for the whole term.
